Weather forecast for Colorado vs. Nebraska
Rumor has it that after the Pilgrim's first Thanksgiving feast, they wore off calories by playing a game of touch football. While the score has been lost over the years, the tradition has not. Turkey and Football are as common a pair as mashed potatoes and gravy, peanut butter and jelly, and my golf game and duck hooks.
So as you polish off your leftover cold turkey sandwich and trek downtown to watch the match up against the not-so-friendly Buffaloes from Boulder, what kind of weather can you expect?
After unseasonably high temperatures in the 60s this week, a dry cold front (one without any precipitation) will move through and knock Friday's highs down to near 55. This will also cause the wind to pick up -- blowing from the Northwest at 10 to 20 mph. So other than a few clouds and wind, Friday will be a pretty nice day. IT IS late November after all!
This Thanksgiving, we should step back and give Thanks to everything we are blessed with. Family, friends, our men and women serving in the armed forces overseas fighting for our freedom, and of course Husker Football! Happy Thanksgiving...Save me the Turkey Leg!
