PSU Recovery
For Penn State, the biggest part of this off season that directly impacts the football team was the decision to allow transfers without the usual one-year waiting period. Clearly the loss of RB Silas Redd to USC was the most devastating individual player, but the loss of depth and experience across the board is the hardest on the team. Kicker. Safety. Receiver. Corner. But amid the mess, there are a couple of pieces of good news. Jared Fagnano transferred from Akron to PSU to join his brother. And all indications are that the defensive front seven will continue to be the strength of the team. Still, it will be difficult for this team to overcome their situation and make it past .500.
