Michigan Season Rests on Denard Robinson

While the Wolverines do have cream filling in the middle of the non-conference schedule, the must watch game of week one is against another top ten opponent, Alabama.  It favors Michigan in a few ways.  If they win, it makes them dangerous team number one in the conference.  If they lose, winning the conference becomes their ultimate goal, because the pressure is high for them to do so.  As far as the conference slate is concerned, Michigan has a favorable draw in the schedule compared to divisional competitors.  They avoid Wisconsin (unless in the championship game), so only have three top 25 ranked opponents (by pre-season polls) in the Big Ten.  The great equalizer against all the ranked opponents will be the dynamic QB Denard Robinson, who clearly has the one of the greatest athletic gifts of any Big Ten player right now.  Husker fans are familiar with Bo Pelini's defense of ultra mobile quarterbacks.  Stopping him, if not just slowing him down, will be the only way to win the game.

Your heading could also be used for the huskers:  Nebraska Season Rests on Taylor Martinez!

Don’t worry, that’s the exact title of my next post.

if the skers season rests on Taylor. The skers r doomed. Especially with a weak oline

@Admiral

Debbie Downer.  The Huskers are a strong, deep team.  The O-line is far from weak. Martinez is a very good quarterback.  Have some faith!!!  You don’t have to drink any Kool-Aid to have faith.
