Martinez Shares B1G POW Honors

For his great results against Southern Miss this week, Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez is the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week. He shares the honor with Michigan State running back Le'Veon Bell. The conference also split the honors for special teams. Iowa kicker Mike Meyer and Northwestern punt returner Venric Mark shared Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week honors. On defense, Minnesota defensive back Derrick Wells won the Player of the Week honor for his performance. Martinez being honored give the Huskers their first conference offensive POW since he last won it in October of last year.
