Injury Update: Tackles Return, Rex Rests
Nebraska defensive tackles Chase Rome and Kevin Williams both practiced for the Huskers on Wednesday. Both appear expected to be available to play against Michigan this week after missing the Northwestern game with injuries. Cornerback Josh Mitchell has also healed enough from the ankle injury that kept him out of action last week to likely play a role this Saturday. Running back Rex Burkhead did not practice in pads on Wednesday, instead resting his injured knee. His availability remains day-to-day. But, sitting out a Wednesday practice is not a good sign that a player will be game ready on Saturday.
