Bad Blood Between Ex-Husker Assistants?

While not directly disparaging Turner Gill, North Dakota State's Head Coach Craig Bohl has ripped into what he saw from Kansas football last weekend.  According to Bohl's interview with "In The FCS Huddle", Northern Iowa will be a more rowdy place to play, with more physical players, and a better opponent.  For two ex-Husker players and coaches, it was a surprise that Bohl did not dole out a little more respect towards the program that Gill is leading.  Bohl was a Linebacker's coach and Defensive Coordinator from 1995-2002 while Gill was the Quarterbacks coach at Nebraska.

Interesting. Maybe Bohl thought he’d help Turner out by lighting a fire under the Jayhawks’ tailfeathers.

Or maybe Bohl is a jerk.

Bohl’s found his niche. This is his seventh year as HC?
He could also be pointing out to his own crew, that this wasn’t exactly “Bama,” that they just smacked. Might’ve been “feeling his oats” too, and got caught up in the phrasing of a question . Hey, if you’re going to deliver a slap, might as well make it worthwhile and let it ripple.

I think Bohl should do a little self-reflection.
Then maybe he will understand why he now plays in the minors.

Shhh!
If we ignore him, he will just go away.
